I Hope So

He asked me a question 

After I threw a stone through his glasshouse

He said

“Do you think you will ever be able to love someone?”

I stood there in silence

In shock

And I quickly respond

“Idk, I hope so”

The look of pity filled his eyes

After I have tried and tried

He looked at me as if I were broken

As if I had malfunctioned

I hope so, is w’s what filled my mind

But I guess we will see

When it’s finally my time
